Throughout the summer months, Turkey's beautiful beaches, which combine blue and green, offer several opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment, as well as a variety of exciting activities. Furthermore, pristine Blue Flag beaches are always accompanied by traces of the world's most important civilizations, unique tastes, vineyard routes, and delicious Turkish wines.

    Çanakkale: The Green Paradise in North Aegean

    Many cities on Türkiye’s Aegean Sea coastline fill up with visitors during the summer. One of these is Çanakkale's Asos shores, whose seas are slightly cooler yet captivating with their green cover. The region's two most famous beaches are Asos Sokakağzı Beach and Kadırga Bay, which are both surrounded by olive trees on both sides. However, when speaking about Çanakkale, Bozcaada and Gökçeada, the two beautiful Turkaeagean islands shouldn’t be forgotten. With its blue sea and silky sands, Bozcaada’s Ayazma Beach is one of the most stunning beaches in the Aegean. The 1200-meter-long Aydıncık Beach in Gökçeada, the largest island of Turkaeagean, is another very popular natural beach, that surfers visit for its beautiful sands.

    İzmir: Heart of Turkeagean

    If you keep going south from Çanakkale, you will reach İzmir, known as the ‘Pearl of the Turkaeagean’. When talking about İzmir, the first thing that comes to mind is Çeşme, which is the city's most popular tourist destination. Ilıca and Alaçatı beaches are the stars of Çeşme, with their beautiful sea and golden sands. Alaçatı Beach, famous for its cool and quiet water, is located about 13 kilometres from the centre of Çeşme. You can sunbathe and enjoy your cocktail under the Aegean sun at Alaçatı Beach, one of the cleanest beaches in Çeşme. Ilıca Beach, located in the Ilıca district of Çeşme, is another popular getaway spot in the region. The shallow, thermal spring waters that warm the seas around Ilıca are well-known. You can spend as much time as you wish swimming in the crystal-clear Aegean waters, relaxing in the endless sun, and enjoying the lovely weather.

    A Journey to the Thousand and One Shades of Blue

    Bodrum is undoubtedly one of the most popular holiday destinations in Aegean, Türkiye’s coast of happiness. With its clear sea, golden sands and stunning coastline, the region is the perfect getaway for sun and sea lovers in summer. Gümbet Beach, one of the closest beaches to the center of Bodrum, promises unforgettable experiences with its sea that combines different shades of blue, boat tours, water sports and diving clubs. Bitez Beach, is ideal for swimming and other water activities. In addition to its wide sandy beach and breathtaking vistas, Bitez Beach is surrounded by many cafes and restaurants. Göltürkbükü Beach, located in the heart of Bodrum's favourite holiday destination Türkbükü, is one of the most vibrant areas in the city. With its attractive beach clubs, the beach promises luxurious experiences.

    Turkish Riviera: Dream Vacations

    Antalya, located in the heart of the Turkish Riviera, is another very popular holiday destination because of its numerous wonderful historical sites, ranging from Aspendos to Myra, Side to Perge, along with its long coastline, turquoise waters, serene bays, and sporting activities. Almost every road in Antalya, known for its beautiful beaches and home to 231 Blue Flag-certified beaches, leads to a different beach. Some of these beaches are kilometres long, while others are hidden gems in mountains and coves. Kaputaş, for example... With its white sandy beach and turquoise sea, Kaputaş on the Kaş-Kalkan Road is absolutely stunning. With its enchantment, this little beach has been named one of the 50 most beautiful beaches in the world. Andrea Doria Bay, named after the Genoese Admiral Andrea Doria and located between the Finike-Demre road, is one of Antalya's most fascinating beaches. This picturesque beach is surrounded by rocks, maquis, and wild olives and is visited by sea turtles and Mediterranean monk seals. Patara Beach, Türkiye’s second longest beach at 14 km in length, is also located in Antalya. This magnificent beach is one of Turkey's most important sea turtle nesting areas.
    Because of this, between May 15 and September 15, visitors and sea turtles use Patara Beach alternately.
