The rising star of sustainable tourism, Türkiye, released a new promotional film to promote the country's natural riches. The newly-released film spotlights the tourism hub’s unparalleled sustainable tourism assets. The campaign is aimed at environmentally-conscious travellers.

The stylish video is expected to position the country as a must-see destination for a complete nature-friendly holiday. The tourism hotspot boasts vast green hospitality, experience, and culinary options.

Türkiye is home to 3,500 endemic plant species, 531 Blue-Flagged beaches, and 48 national and 262 natural parks. Additionally, wildlife observation areas are dotted all over the country. With all these impressive natural riches, Türkiye stands out as the ultimate destination for green-minded travellers.

Türkiye also signed a collaboration agreement with the world's top sustainability platform Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), at the beginning of 2022. With this new development, Türkiye became the first government in the world to sign an agreement to develop a national sustainability program. The program will restructure Türkiye’s much-acclaimed Safe Tourism Certification, which will continue defining a series of measures under the new name “Green and Safe Tourism Certification Program” as of 2023.

Türkiye offers plenty of hospitality options to conscious travellers wishing to be one with nature. From hotels with globally recognized eco-certificates to camping in unspoiled locations, visitors are sure to find everything their hearts desire in the beautiful country. The promotional film highlights Türkiye's vast camping offerings where travellers can sleep under the stars across the country with the slogan “Million Star Hotels”. Muğla’s Montana Hill appears here as the perfect spot to pitch your tent with its gorgeous view and eye-brightening wildlife.

For environmentally-conscious digital nomads, there are many options, too. The film showcases Çanakkale’s beautiful Ayvacık district as the perfect office location where visitors can work against a picturesque view surrounded by lush greens and unlimited oxygen.

Green-minded travellers can enjoy all the eco-friendly experiences nature offers in Türkiye.

The promotional film underlines that the conscious country offers everything a traditional holiday entails but in nature. Unique experiences abound in Türkiye for ethical visitors. They can go shopping in local bazaars in Aegean towns Birgi, Tire, or Urla and buy fresh local produce, helping the region’s small businesses. They can also have a Turkish bath in Pamukkale’s magnificent white travertines and go on a boat trip on Çanakkale’s beautiful waters in Assos.

There are countless options in Türkiye for those who wish to observe the wildlife and plants. Visitors can be amazed by Caretta Caretta on Patara Beach and celebrate İğneada Longoz Forests’ rare ecosystem by paddling on the glassy surface of its gorgeous lakes.
