Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, who has been preparing the menu for the Academy Awards party since 1995, featured Black Sea Flatbread and Dried Apricots Stuffed with Clotted Cream on his menu.

The Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, is one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the world. Now in its 94th year, the star-studded awards ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on the night of March 27. At the party following the ceremony, Turkish dishes impressed the attendees, who included world-famous movie stars, artists, and producers.

Wolfgang Puck, the globally renowned chef who has prepared the menu for the Oscars parties since 1995, featured Black Sea Flatbread (Karadeniz Pidesi) and Dried Apricots Stuffed with Clotted Cream (Kaymaklı Kayısı Tatlısı) on this year’s party menu. Both of them were savoured for the first time by cinema’s most notable figures and the dishes received considerable acclaim.

Wolfgang Puck, who prepared the menu for the party, said, “Türkiye has one of the richest cuisines in the world thanks to its traditional recipes and organic products. There are so many dishes waiting to be discovered in Turkish cuisine. All seven regions of Türkiye are full of flavour shaped by history and culture. All Turkish cities are worth visiting and have their own unique and delicious food. My family and I visit Türkiye every summer with pleasure”.
